  • In IC2-Experimental: 2.0.225 When you use a wrench to break a generator and it still has fuel inside the fuel is not dropping out. This is the solid fuel generator.

All IC2 machines "eat" items you have in them if you wrench them. Be sure to remove everything from them before wrenching them.

  • Strange I dont know how that could happen. I will look into it.

I make fusion reactor and 52 electrolyzer working.
48 is supply water from ender tank and golden fluid pipe(BC).
4 is supply electrolyzed water cell.

this is latest(GT 4.04d, IC #225) version message.

  • Greg, are you going to have your own variant of the Thermal Centrifuge and Ore Washer?
Maybe you could add a config into IC2 to disable overclocker swapping.

I'd actually dare to say ignoring the upgrade-swapping the centrifuge and washer are pretty decently balanced already. They use decent amount of power and aren't quite OP in terms of stuff returned. Even their recipes are pretty good. As ind. grinder returns purified crushed ores it seems as Greg assumes using thermal centrifuge as the last step in ore processing.

I'd say their only other problem besides upgrades is they are just a puny little single block machines :D

  • I just realised that because the Thermal Centrifuge requires 2 Mining Lasers, the expensiveness scales with the recipe for Mining Lasers, so the recipe is balanced.

  • From now on we shall all refer to Spwnx as Scruffy (The janitor)

    What? Why?

I'm not that old, come on, i'm probably younger than 90% people here. [17]

Btw, may i join the Dev IRC?
[I'm not going to spam suggestions or anything there, just read whats going on IC² Experimental]

Note 2 : Edited the public release, fixing some things, alongside adding the donation button you missed for whatever reason.

  • I didn't know whether it was valid for me to post it since it was linked to someones paypal I did not know ;p

It says its for "IC² Development Team" , so i guess its valid, somehow.
Or you want to put Greg's one? That may work too :P
Edit : Except that Greg's is in german, and i can't translate it back to english or anything. AFAIK there are widgets or plugins or whatever thing to make the donation page to be automatically translated to the user's language (portuguese in my case).

  • Just wanted to le you know about a potential duplication glitch.
If you use a tin ingot to make a tin plate, then use that plate in a metal former to make three cells, you can then macerate the cells to get three tin dusts.
I guess everything is going on at once with new IC2 versions e.t.c.
Thanks for making a great mod.

  • Is it intended or a bug that blast furnace recipe for iron ore + CaCO3 was removed? That was the ONLY way I produced iron :D

You can just use Google Chrome (it has a pop down option to translate). I didn't need to translate though, it's fairly similar to English (all you need to input are your log in details and amount of euros.)

I thought I removed that Cell Recipe from the Metalformer a while ago.

    That is definetly not intended.

So SpwnX is sitting in a corner in the Room, looking at a Zero Gravity Porn Magazine not doing any things like cleaning or other janitor Stuff, and nobody knows his Name as if he isn't actually there?

  • Considering the cheapest of GT pipes have 3x the throughput of liquiducts and 6x of golden fluid pipes, why not have a greater spread of throughputs with somewhat less resource usage in the low-end? E.g instead of 120mB/t for bronze have them have 20mB/t (golden pipes from BC) and have the recipe return 6 pipes instead of 2. That would allow to use them for moving around the stuff that doesn't need massive throughput over longer distances.

  • Greg, can you make your plutonium interchangeable with IC's? Pretty please?
I want to use RTG but i don't want to use reactors, actually can't since Kane banned them for being "unstable" (aka crashing), which i'm pretty sure is false. Any confirmations?

@above : NO. PIPES ARE GOOD AS THEY ARE !

What about a wooden pipe (uses logs [and sticky resin in place of wrench/hammer]) and transfer up to 40mB/t ?
Edit : also, wooden pump covers/drains [extract 20 mb/t] those are made of levers + redstone + logs (idea from post below)

  • Maybe some sort of low-end pumps too... to get the Creosole out of the Coke-Ovens.

@Greg: Deine PC Hardware ist ja grausam... post mal bitte dein Setup. Hab' hier noch ewig viel Hardware rumfliegen. Vllt kannst du damit etwas aufrüsten.

  • Apparently there is a problem with GT wrenches. When you break something with them that have items in them (charcoal in furnace, batteries in boxes, materials being processed in random machines) all those contained items are lost. It doesn't occur without GT installed.

It is intended, that the Pipes are far more expensive than BC ones. Keep the Pipes short if you want to save Materials.
