Assuming I don't have Redpower to use its relay and I need to have the sticky resin so I can process it inside industrial centrifuge instead of extractor, how do I automate this?

You should make an automated rubber tree farm then you centrifuge/extract the rubber trees.Or get a slime farm.

Treetap turtles from computercraft+miscperipherals could be programmed to do that. And if your tree farm is large, the turtle won't be tapping the same spot on the same tree very often so they shouldn't die on you.

Wouldn't a manual Multiblock farm with the rubberized electron tube work? It does harvest the sticky resin, but I'm not sure whether it completely dries it up or not.

I can confirm that multi farms work, and are very compact. The only downside is the apatite it requires.

While this is an old thread, I too came here looking for answers. Anyway here is yet another way to automate rubber collection.
Thaumcraft 4 golems can chop down rubber trees. Use a lumberjack golem, a "use" golem (to replant the trees) and a gather golem to gather the drops.

Agreed. Maybe you could put this in a guide on a separate thread under Agricultural Engineering. Just something quick and that way you don't get yelled at for a necropost.
