While we intend to update IC2 to newer versions, it's a very time-consuming process. I'd assume that it'd take about 4 months to update to 1.13/1.14 if we put all of our spare time into updating IC2. However since we have other things to do as well and it's quite easy to lose motivation to continue minecraft modding when updating mods for a while, I don't think it'll happen anytime soon.

It's clear the community wants to have IC2 for newer MC versions, but it requires more work than many of you would think. IC2 for newer MC versions will come when/if we are ready for it.

That being said, if someone wants to help in the IC2 development/updating process, we're always open for having a few extra hands, so if you think you can help, please let us know.

No, they don't tick at the same time to distribute the calculation load of many reactors across multiple ticks.

I wouldn't know of any way to detect a reactor tick. They happen once a second (once every 20 ticks).

What you could do though is to disable the reactor while you are inserting stuff by cutting its redstone power.

If you want to simulate a reactor, there is a Reactor Planner out there, that does that.

As I said, this issue has nothing to do with the gui, so I can't say whether the gui will work if you fix this.

This is most likely caused by you not registering your tileentity correctly. It has nothing todo with the GUI.

Usually upgrading your fogre version shouldn't break anything. I'd give it a try.

Could you send us a log file of this happening (.minecraft/logs/fml-client-latest.log)?

There is not a setting for it, but you could detect the amount of scrap in a buffer with a comparator and apply a redstone signal to the massfab ifthe amount of scrap in the buffer is too low.

Nowerdays, you just add it to your build script (as shown in the original post) and reimport the build script in your ide.

Try deleting the folder "ic2" in the config folder. If it still doesn't work, please post the fml-client-latest.log file.

You can disable the value "enableEnetExplosions" in the config file.
