Multiblock nukes? I think so.

    It would be cool to have nukes with multiple explosion powers, depending on its size, however it have been denied by Greg and i doubt IC² will add any more military stuff.
    At least until the legendary industrial conflict expansion comes

  • Doing multiblock nukes would be a nightmare anyway, you'd have to write a whole new explosion function for the game, its tends to get crashy above the explosion sizes already available, even if you prevent all item drops.


    I suggest instead, a nuclear bomb powered xray laser, instant mining tunnel!.

    And what about a Multiblock version of all the Freegens? Make a fan shape of Machine blocks and tin, then put a generator next to it and BOOM! Windmill!
    Ofcourse it should give a fair bit of a buff.

    That would require laggy animations and multiblock generators are kinda denied for IC².

    And redpower does a fairly good job for the windmills, apart from the collision bugs.

    I kinda miss the checkerboard pattern from the old nukes... Although it was always annoying to have to work around the terrain like a floating checker piece...


    (Course, I think it helped discourage me from overusing the nuke as a terrain modification device, lol...)
