I will test it later. If it is true, this is certainly an exploit which MUST be fixed.

I'm going to make it so many times if it is, how can you tun down a green gen which doesn't even need the environment?
-
Thats not a green gen, that is just a math error which consequently breaks the physic law of energy as you are generating energy from nowhere.
-
It makes energy from nothing, that's Greg's view on a green gen isn't it? And yeah, magic power making setup
-
At least green generators have a justification from where they are drawing power and their materials are for that.
Solar panel needs silicon , wind mill needs blades.I've tested it. It really has a energy profit (small, but can be automatable). So... It is time to fix it.
-
Small profit is profit. Massive power dupe factory, here I come!
-
When did they change it from 15000 EU to 18000 EU???
-
No idea, but you should change your electrolyzing value asap.
-
I'm surprised no one noticed before. I guess people don't really use water cells as power storage anymore though.
-
I do use it, but i didnt realise it worked on MFSU's, only MFE's
-
the exploit will only work with MFSU's, because batbox connected electrolysers will give you only 14000@cell and at a 4eu/t rate
MFE 16000 at 8eu/t so only the MFSU is usable (still you need a LOT of materials for such a low energy profit):p o and I thought about this math a long time ago, it was just because I saw this thread I actually calculated the profit
(searching for a new energy exploit :D)EDIT:
also your MFSU's need always have some energy in them and never more than 25%! so some other mod's need to be used for control (which could also use energy and by doing so negate some of the profit even more) -
Note that I fixed the Default Config setting for electrolyzed Cells indev.
-
Awwwwwwwww. Guess I'll just have to, change it back
-
-Snippy snip-
I made a thread on the FTB forums not too long ago about using this same basic concept, but instead using it as a EU -> MJ conversion method rather then a method of energy production.
Anyone who's interested can read it here: http://forum.feed-the-beast.co…o-mj-with-hydrogen.12971/

Biofuel automation, fully automated with GT.
Produces 4100 EU every 8 sugar canes, leaves ... or 4 saplings.Requires :
Plant Matter Source
Automatic Compressor
Automatic Canning Machine
Automatic Extractor
Diesel generator
3 small buffers
2 conveyor covers
Quantum/Digital chestP.S : Since this is a very basic machine i didn't make any further "information" about it.
Edit: "fixed" for 1.5.1 with covers, also changed to horizontal setup which is a bit smaller
-
That is a 1.4.7-Design right? Newer Versions make that much more compact. Also I would suggest to make an horizontal build.

Okay, since it doesn't depend on any other mod rather than GT i will modify it to fit 1.5.1
By the way you should take a look on import/export cover "bug", if there are two covers, one set to import, other to export, both stop working.Edit: Done.

Doublepostingbecauseican!
Biofuel generator updated to 1.5.1
Soon : Methane generator (will make it whenever cub updates to 1.5.1), 15040 EU per carbon cell (8 sugar cane, 1 charcoal, 1/2 coal...)Will edit this post whenever it is done.

Its not the Carbon you need to worry about, its the Hydrogen
Also, anyone know how much more Efficient each Heat vent makes a machine? Is it percentage? -
It's percentage. And it's not that much.
