I'm genuinely wondering if it is still being worked on, though I suspect it isn't
If anyone knows what's going on, or if a dev team member sees this, at least let us know if the next update is coming or not
Is IC2 dead?

NO, IC² is NOT dead.
Currently, the main (active) developers are Player and Thunderdark, with some help of GregoriusT (The developer of GregTech) and sprites-textures by SirusKing (he is now an official IC² spriter).
You can find latest IC² experimental builds (which are unstable, by the way, use LF meanwhile) here : http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_experimental/.
IC² experimental has some new WIP features and overhauls (E-net, nuke, new nuclear generator, liquid UUM). -
Yes! With nothing being said about it for months and its removal from the technic pack I though it had been dropped... Glad to see it'll be back up eventually! I personally prefer this to all the universal electricity mods, they always felt cobbled together while IC was a bit more stable and implemented into SO many other mods!

Don't say the T-word.
And btw, even if IC² wasn't being overhauled for a long time, GT was here with tons of stuff, so it always had new features :p
And of course, IC² seems to me a lot better than UE too, because it's more balanced, has no compatibility issues, no exploits ... -
No wonder people think it's dead with the lack of communication and the radio silence in the relevant places.

We don't negotiate with Terrorists, unlike Buildcraft...

People are just too stupid to see that dark grey Box with the Links to the IC2 Builds to 1.6.2, which is on EVERY FRIKKIN PAGE OF THE FORUM. Not to mention that many many people watch Direwolf to see whats happening in the World of modded Minecraft.

To defend them, one must say that they don't have Nukes and Mining Lasers and all the awesome shit! -

Instead of using capitals, he could have made it bigger.

I was wondering, now i have seen the latest version of Ic2 and It was the first mod i installed, and My personal favorite overall. And i was wondering with why isnt Ic2 stable as it was back in 1.2.5 or 1.4.7?

Because IC² developers went missing (most), then it just had ports to newer MC versions. Now it is being developed once again (reworked) by Player and Thunderdark (and GregoriusT).
What came out of that is IC² experimental. -

That's like drawing a bad picture and making it good just by drawing it bigger

I'd like to think that you can submit bug-fixes to IC2, but I don't know how 'open' the source would have to be in order to allow that...
