  • Difference is it's not like they weren't seeing any usage. They are stopping support for some of their best games!

145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

    I see this too much.

  • I always said Nintendo is going down the road. Do you remember the last time they did something creative and new? I certainly don't.

3DS? First hand held 3D thing

  • Who except for Nintendo is really doing handheld stuff?

There is no such things as smartphones.

Just because no one else is doesn't mean it's not innovation. Why no smart phones?

  • Nowadays making something smaller is not that innovative.

Maybe not to the consumer, but in the industry it certainly is.
Invent a safe, meter-wide nuclear reactor, for instance, and you would probably get a few hundred million billion dollars of funding.

  • Apropos billions of funding, Unidye is 99% working now and I am reworking stuff now for 1.7.2 :D

What does this have to do with billions of funding, you ask? I have no idea!

  • Because they have to pay for the servers. All online games do it eventually.

on consoles, yeah. On PCs where most games have the servers as free downloads online communities exist as long as there are players willing to play them.

I'd be rather surprised if we get 1-2 more dedicated gaming console generations after the current one. Phones/tablets will be taking their place with PC remaining as the high-end thingy for the hardcore people.

Well, reactors are not something you should compare to mobile devices. Imagine someone using Nuclear Fuel to power its iPhone!

  • Have anyone played with the /effect command on single player yet?

    Try /effect playername 1 99999 255 on a superflat world.
    and /effect playername 21 99999 255
    and /effect playername 22 99999 255
    and /effect playername 10 99999 255

Is there a way to implement special armor abilities using those?, for example the effect 21 (health boost) when using nano/quantum suit AND removing invulnerability, but keeping 85-95% of damage reduction.

  • I just happen to not have m Micro-processor production kit here, and what would yet another nano-supercomputer be anyway?

Nano super computer? What? Super Computers are still several rooms full of Towers, you know.

  • I have one here in my hand and my hand is still not crushed. You can't be right there.

    Head in your hands? :P

  • Fine, try making a micro-processor with incredible power.

Define "incredible power". I'm quite certain that Note 3 has more power than early supercomputers while using nearly no power at all. Not to mention having WAY more processing power than even desktop processors from less than decade ago.

Modern super computers, I meant. Try shrinking the Titan into your fist >.>
Which, by the way sinaj, is much better at calculating than your brain is, and even then, your brain certainly isn't "micro".

What about a quantum computer, such as Google's D-Wave?
