Nope, I have it set up this way already. It has been using resources. I just wanted to make sure because the wiki isn't all that clear. Hard to be sure without a soil testing device that shows the levels in the crops.
You might want to recheck the wiki, i personally updated the page on the crop-matron the other day.
The way I interpret that post is that no EU powered item transport tubes, not tubes to transport natural gas. I'm not talking about transporting liquids or items or anything, just a way of moving your power generation from a point that's farther away from the pocket of natural gas so that you don't have to lose EU running a cable hundreds of blocks. Instead, you would be able to have it right at your base and runthe natural gas to it.
I interpreted it as "No pipes, no tubes, for anything!"
*Puts on science hat* If you want to be technical, A liquid is classified as anything that can flow. due to the fact that gasses flow natural gas is classified as a liquid. So your natural gas pipe is just a liquid pipe. *Takes of science hat*
The idea its self isn't horrid in my opinion, id love to have more real world science build into IC2. ive been around IC2 long enough to know when an idea isnt going to be added.

Maybe pockets of natural gas can be found in the ground (kind of like oil from BC but no geiser) and could then be pumped into a generater through special gas pipes and make about as much as a Geothermal Generater. Just another idea for more power generation options.

Alright, if there is no negative arguments, how do i go about getting the attention from admin to get this implemented?

Or how about a list to select installed mods.
This would take a intimate knowledge of each mod but would help return the most accurate values.

You should be able to select what machines you have from the mods you have installed.

My opinion on this is:
Collecting bits of metal from lava: Defiantly, only really interesting idea.
Generates glass: No, stone can be made into sand then glass. there is no real advantage to having massive amounts of glass. (Glass panes are blacklisted)
Generates energy: No way, this would be a buffed up generator + mass fabricator rolled into one.
Question about real world physics, due to the fact that copper + tin = bronze, would extracting metal from lava result in bronze instead of tin and copper?
Balancing question: Without being able to pump lava to this thing, would it eat more tin than it outputs other material?
Display MoreIn my opinion is a good thing to use the charcoal to make diamonds, because the natural diamonds (IRL), are made of old-compressed trees of the Dinosaurs' era, maybe it needs a LOT of charcoal, to make a diamond!

As far as being IC2 built in, No. people already have diamond farms. we shouldn't really make that easier.
If your hell bent on having this for your self i believe there is an add-on. charcoal dust i believe is the name, should look it up.
There are slight downsides in some aspects of automating crops, I'll leave it to you to find them out.

i was refering to the "reactor chamber" as in the chamber that the reactor is placed. i was not refering to the crafted reactor block.
So, I know the basics of the agriculture system, but I have a few questions:
-Do you just have to wait around for mutations to get the different plants (red wheat, ferru, etc)? Is there nothing you can do to influence it at all?
-What's the whole seed drop system about? Most of the time, when I right-click a plant, I don't get any seed drops. How do you maximize your seed drops?

Might be the range. Every meter or so a laser loses power, and if it's not powerful enough to hit a block, it stops.
I hate to say it, but no, i was standing right against the glass.
I suggest getting on touch with the one responsable for giving permission on the IC2 Wiki so you can work out without a problem.
PM a mod or dev to let them know you will be doing this could also help you with that.
And i commend you for actually trying to do something instead of "Bawww waaaaa the wiki its wrong it needs to be cremated" and similar stupid shit like that.
