[Addon 1.112] BuildCraft-IndustrialCraft Crossover Mod v2.0[SSP/SMP]

  • I am set up with an MFE powering my workshop through a LV tranformer, and a small electric engine is hooked in. At first, the engine will not charge nor run, then when I break and place the engine again it freezes the power stored in the MFE at whatever it was, and it will not change. Suddenly there is an infinite amount of power, presumably up to 128 EU/t, regardless of whether the MFE is being charged (I disconnected the MFE from the charging, same result). The only way to get the MFE to charge/decharge is to break the transformer and place it again.

  • There hasn't been another version (BC is still in 2.x release) but I imagine when/if a guide comes out for 3.x it'll be available separately.
And really, it's only $2. If it's not worth a couple shekels to support SpaceToad's work, there are free sources like the Wiki. It's just more convenient.

  • v1.18 is up, it is only SSP at this time, there are a lot of bugs with the other mods and I cannot get SMP to work at the time.

IB will also be updated later.

That took entirely too much effort, I'm gonna go watch some Etho to relax. Go build something.

  • If anyone has request for a BC 3.x trigger, now would be the time to ask. Triggers for the nuclear reactor are not possible without an unacceptable performance hit.

Believe he's headed toward the 3.x route anyway. I've been using that alpha since it's been out. So, if my vote counts, I'd like this mod for the 3.x version. Loved this mod before I decided to be a testing guinea pig  Thanks. Can live without the reactor for a while if that's a problem. Would like this for everything else though. Thanks.

Oh, if it matters, already at 3.1.2. Look forward to it!

  • I appreciate you getting this ported to 1.1 so quickly!

Howver, I'm getting an error when I try to launch after installing this. Error log attached.

I know: Currently, the IB build isn't updated to support BC 3.1.2 yet. Silentdeth said that it might take a while.

  • Ah, roger that. Wasn't sure it this was BC 3.x-compatible or not. I'll patiently await it!

  • Player?
    This is your cue.
    Release the kraken!

Now that is just evil! LOL

Thanks Silentdeath, really appreciate this addon.
I was all doing a happy dance yesterday that IC2 got updated and then I was in a panic when I realized no BC crossover.

  • I just noticed something with the IB version.

I downloaded it and noticed (in NEI) the engines aren't present. The ModLoader.txt doesn't report ID conflicts (after changing the ID's for the Petro Gen and the Materializer).

    What's up?
