i propose that that the "general discussion" sub-forum be renamed the "no spambots allowed" sub-forum because the spambots like it so much the hope is the name change will throw some of them off

"Hello I'm a spambot buy a kitchen."
These are hilarious to read, please don't delete the posts. Even better, rename general discussion to no spambots allowed (general discussion) and make a new sub-forum called General Discussion. It would be an awesome way of separating spambots :).
Does anyone find it strange that there always appears to be 200+ guests online? I find it hard to believe that there is somehow always 200 people viewing threads, how exactly do spam bots work? Do they wait in threads for a long time before posting or do they post immediately?

I ninja'd you. I wasn't sure and I didn't provide that many details, but I posted before you. Revenge is sweet. Okay, this may be a bit overdone...

Lives in Austria
Lets check all the Profiles of People from Afghanistan! (due to alphabetical Order its the first Country)

Unfortunately, you can't search for countryaffiliation. However, on the last page there are many "users" from Afghanistan, and guess how many of them live in locations in Afghanistan? Correct, 0. All of them have links to websites in their profiles, one of them thinks this is a wiki, and one's website is a captcha decoder.
These are the spambots on the last page of the member list.
sleepers should be deleted simply locking doesn't solve the problem because the links still exist which is why they are made in the first place
