Unfortunately, it can seem like IC2 is dead especially considering there hasn't been an official release for some time now. But rest assured, IC2 is still being worked on, it likes to be 'stuck' per se in beta stages a lot.
IC² is kinda "stuck" due its main developer (alblaka) being busy with whatever he is doing (like writing his books).
RichardG and Player can implement some new things and keep updating it to new MC versions, but nothing major nor official.
Ok, thank you. It's good to know that IC2 is still being worked on. I won't update my pack to 1.5.1 until an 'official' release appears. Thanks for letting me know.
Don't expect an official release anytime soon, those unofficial packs are stable enough. [Except for API changes]
For example the server i'm playing runs IC² for 1.5.2 (unofficial release on jenkins).
From what I have gathered Alblaka probably has burnt out on IC2 and development is very likely to pause for quite a while.
I recommend using the builds though, they're pretty bug-free.

Probably firewall or the website was down. As of time of posting, it works for me.

Im assuming this means that IC2 is finished but you can't update the post, correct?
But wouldn't it be possible to post a version in the Support section as a Beta or a Release Candidate? Or do you need permission from Alblaka?
