I'm actually tempted to vote buildcraft, inspired by this series.

for me BevoLJ is a little bit to crazy (from talking style) but his BC/BCA/RC series is cool and also it shows what you can make with only those mods...

maybe some kind of rarity rating? like, diamonds need flat 10-100 times as much UU as resin, of course still taking he rest of the algorythm into account.

IC² UU system currently is dynamic, setting values to things based on how much of it is generated in the world (which counts mostly ores), which is also why plants have an absurd price.

maybe set a few static values for certain things...like plants. you can still make it +-[rand amount] when the world is generated.

So, one possibility to drop UU prizes is to generate as much area as possible? also, the most simple solution to the issue is to count every item and block in the world, and maybe give plants (ore dictionary names maybe?) flat values, maybe editable in the config.

You can set custom uu values for stuff in the config file already.

That's exactly what you have to do to fix a bug:
1.) Find out what to fix
2.) Find out how to fix it.If you're lucky, you find an answer to both questions. If not, you either fix something that's not broken or you break something that's not working anyways.

Well and what if the code is right and there is no logic errors in your code and it is still bugging in the game?
I had a bug where the BossStatus Renderring did break (Texture Wise) and i had everything right... then i nodest MC Requries after 1.6.4 (for me is after 1.6.4 = 1.7.10) twice the injection of the Texture to actually not break...
