    Hello

Elloraam.com is offline the whole night can somebody send me a download link?

    thanks, Lennard (12)(dutch)

The downloadlink IS ON ELORAAM.COM adfly bypasses it only.

And Thermopiles are enough for my 8x8xLength Drillmachine. But i forgot to make Screens of the work in progress, so you can only see it tomorrow or so.

Edit: I have it actually not finished (only Forwarddrive and Drillhead but no Automation), that's why you have to wait for them.

So i got the 8x8-Drill (without Outerhull for Lavaprotection, D'OH!), It runs on a Sequenzer and Batteries.

Edit: Pic 4: Outerhull finished now is only the IC²-Machinery left.

    Edit: Facts about Frames:

    - They can move your Spawnpoint WITH THE BED!!! => Truely Mobile Base
    - They can move everything including Lava and Water => Onboardcobblegenerator and Thermopiles usable
    - They can move into not frameconnected Air/Lava/Water without Problems
    - They can fly

    - They need Blutricity to run (there are Blue Lamps to indicate that), but no matter how large the Construction is, they still consume a constant amount of Power per Move (even a BT-Furnace consumes more)

    - A Drillmachine needs at least a Width of 4 Blocks and a Height of 2 (3, if you want to sit in and 4, if you want to survive Lava)

    - You can change the maximum amount of moved Blocks in config (linksize=1000 by default).

Edit1: Thank you, Captain Obvious. i will add the following:

    - Everything must be attached to the Frame otherwise it will stuck.
    - If you put a COVER-Block on the Side of a Frame it becomes unsticky
    - If you put a PANEL-Block on the Side of a Frame, it's still Sticky, but allows additionally Cables/Buttons to be placed on

    Edit2:

    - Thaumic Crystals are not compatible to Blockbreakers, which makes Tunnelboringmachines a little bit more expensive to harvest them, but hey you can then also harvest Chests if you put a few Transposers there to suck all up.

You forgot to include the most obvious, if you want to move something, it must be connected directly to a frame, otherwise it will make the system stuck itself or something

Tangent alert! (sortof, it is a pr5 thread)
anyone seen a good forth guide as it's related to redpower computers?
I am a programmer but i'm still trying to wrap my brain around forth. RPN gives me a headache.

failing that, i'm wondering if anyone's going to do a redpower 6502 c compiler.

in other news: Eloraam really needs her own forums for redpower, it's nearly impossible to find anything in that thread.

Oh this Thread was more releated to Frames than Computers, i think you could make a new one for RP-Computers.

What if you shove a chunk loader/anchor block on mobile base/drilling thing? That work as expected? :>

I dont use Chunkloadingblocks of Additional Pipes, because i don't use BC.
I wait with installing Railcraft, because i don't want any BlockID-Conflicts with IC² (Redpower and IC² must use their StandardBlockID's)

I think they could have Problems. Make sure you use the Anchorcart for that, because it's programmed to be mobile.

the forward drive has me stumped mind posting some detailed pics on how you built yours?

true balance is impossible in video games the best one can hope for is to make it really hard to guess which of 2 choices are better.

I made a "TBM" that mines around 120 blocks per second at diamond level and places torches after it. It runs on 16 thermopiles and a sequencer. imo frames are op because the only real cost to do that is the four motors. It gained those diamonds back in under 10min.

Check out this awesome mod !

What? you have row of 480 Blockbreakers?!?! You must have modified the config for that (maximum size), because Maximumspeed is one Move per Second, and you have four Framemotors.

@Forwarddrive, moment i will do it after i finished the Forum.

    Edit: The Forwarddrive:

These Pictures are explaining much about how it works

    Dirt = COVERS
    Stone = PANELS
That is only to make the Diffrence visible you can use any Cover or Panel you want.

In the End i have only to push a Button and it moves one Step forward.

Yep the config is set to 2500. The 120 blocks/sec is quite theoretical,as the amount of lag is quite ridiculous. Btw ,thanks for the pics. I'm so stupid that I wouldn't have figured out to use redstone tubes myself :pinch:

IC² for 1.2.5 is out. Now i can build my Machines to process the Stuff of my TBM. Sadly i started a new world 5 hours before IC² was out and now i have no Uranium in the nearby Area, but i have plundered a Thaumcraftobelisk within the first hour of play, on the legit way, what makes that acceptable.
