As far as I know, a paid Horse Armor DLC is planned. Recycling jokes is good for the environment, by the way. The more often its reused, the more leathal animales survive!

Though I'd like an official (with a lot of work on, not like the basic DLC-for-extra-money) Industrial Addon. I think Mojangshould make some addons like an Industrial one, an adventure one (with RPG systems, more creatures, quests etc ...) and some others ... if they could pay the modders themselves with that.

It's a joke. Horse Armor was an official DLC for Oblivion, the Elder Scroll game previous to Skyrim, which gave you... armor for your horse. Needless to say memetic statue ensued.

@bove But the problem is, that horses were a vital part of the game, as they are the only way to travel longer distances, since you could only teleport yourself to any position on the map if you are outside and there are no ememies 10 m around you, so you are really forced to use horses, and as they die fast, you are forced to buy it.

RawCode, that'd make Minecraft totally stupid to play then. The mods are the reason that I play Minecraft and not of the derpy systems that Mojang creates.
And if there would be armor for horses, there should be first something like Vanilla armor for horses first.
But hell, who is going to waste iridium plates for a horse while you can fly with Gravisuite? Unless they add a Pegasus (which they'll probably also make a derpy version of compared to Mo'Creatures), I'm not wasting my precious mats for a silly derpy horse.
