(Im just guessing here, I dont have knowledge of minecraft modding)
Looks like extrautils transfer nodes thingy got stuck in an infinite recursion (or the pipe system is too big?) so it causes a stack overflow and the minimap is just in there since it has a hook on block access to update the minimap? -

The scary thing is, that's with no Extra Utilities items in the entire world. Just trying to load a save, new or otherwise, causes it to happen

There are 1.8 mods. List here . There's no Forge currently, but FML is there. LiteLoader is up and running, along with VoxelMap. Optifine and Shaders work. Too Many Items too. Not many mods that actually add fancy content, except Biomes O Plenty and the Mineralogy Mod.

That might well be true, but lying in your German speaking test to use more complex structures gets you marks.
