AS the first thing, I would try to use some normal version of JAVA and not the one year old one...try to update to Java 8 :) It can help or not....but the log in GITHUB has also Java7

  • Btw, we have no way to make Uranium/MOX fuel rod with GT machines. Only IC Canning Machine can do it. Isn't it wrong?

The problem is likely the newest forge update. Downgrading a few versions should workl

I see no problem with that. The used machine has no GT version of it and works quite different internally. Also IC2 can be powered by GT cables, so there should be no reason to change that besides cosmetic ones.

Ok. No problem. Thx for answer.

Do u plan to add Graphene Cables, and some way to make Graphene itself?

  • Hey i am having issues with the Large Steam Turbine, it might be just me derping, or could it somehow be related to the liquid dictionary change ?

i'm running the Beyond Reality pack
    Current forge version: forge-1.7.10-10.13.3.1403-1.7.10-universal.jar
    Current Gregtech version: gregtech_1.7.10-5.08.19.jar

The multibock is forming correctly (when facing East or North).
The debug tool says running at 100% efficiency and with 0 problems, but it does not output any energy and it does not consume any steam. (been fed by a Gregtech Large Bronze Boiler)
I have tried with Turbine, Large Turbine & Huge turbine (diffrent materials as well) (I have no idea what the difference on the sizes are, any word on that?)
I have tried moving Input/output hatch on same side/different size/switch side all with no luck.
I have tried diffrent dynamo hatches MV/HV/EV (are these related to the size of the turbine that is needed)?

Here i a picture with it "running":

  • It seems like Thorium fuel rod produces much more heat than it should. This reactor blow up in a few seconds after turn on.

  • hi guys,
I'm getting a crash on startup with my modpack. A Stackoverflow error, if I remove Gregtech from the mods directory everything works fine. There seems to be something with Thaumcraft but i'm not sure.

    Forge: 1.7.10 Forge 10.13.4.1448 (tried 1428 aswell)
    Gregtech: latest version .19

    Crash-report: http://pastebin.com/cg3Q5Bz2

Any help would be appreciated :)

    Greetings Ceten

  • i'm using thaumictinkerer 2.5 1.7.10 164 but the weird thing is that the game works perfectly fine without Gregtech.
I removed thaumic tinkerer and still not working fine :/ Without Thaumcraft itself it seems to work. Wondering why the whole thaumcraft thing doesn't work out ...

  • Hmm... i cant find tin or casserite ore...

I have used world edit to remove all stone blocks to see only the ores... And in a 600x600 area is no tin. Is this a bug? :(

from experience on GT5 vanila, no it is not, casserite veins are kind of dificult to find, but they do exist, the way to resolve this on my case, was to invest on crops so i dont need to hunt they later.

Check my channel on YT for finished LPs (GT4 and GT5 ), and some stuff on 1.6.4
I am realy not good with speech and english.

  • I 've been trying to has osmium and iridium spawn in the overworld but it's difficult to test if it worked (even with worldedit).

If I changed the platinum mix entry in the wolrdgen config to this would it add osmium and iridium to the vein?

83, 84, and 85, and 828 are platinum, iridium, osmium, and sheldonite (not sure which is which but I know 828 is sheldonite).

  • Nope.. Nope.. never change a text in front of equals.

or if you want, you may create a few small ores (Crushed osmium ore etc..)

  • I can approve that Bug. My Large Steam turbine Controller , running with a small Osmium Turbine is facing East and does neither output any Energy on its HV energy output, nor consuming any steam from a Gregtech Steam boiler or a Railcraft High pressure Steam boiler. My Turbine is perfectly repaired and displays perfect running. The bug was already in the previous version (that s why i updated to the newest version).

I have to say, that i' m using Forge 10.13.3.1408, anyways, my modpack is not running with the newest version of forge (... 1448 ) and i m too tired to fix that now. I will try that out tomorrow and give an Update about it.

Edit: Nope, newest Forge doesn t fix it. At least not for me.

Installing cofh core and using the following command

    Code
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 grass
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 dirt
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 stone
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 sand
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 sandstone
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 water
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 lava
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 obsidian
    /cofh clearblocks (yourMC Name) 100 100 100 clay

Now everything is cleared and you can see the gt ores very well.

  • Thanks. This was very helpful. I also now understand how to use custom mix and small.

What does the density variable do in the ore mixes?

Also I have been using worldedit to clear blocks (I'm putting together a small whitelist and one of the members wants it for building fast) but even then spotting a specific vein turns out to be tricky. I've yet to find a way to clear all blocks except a specific ID using cofh or worldedit.

I'm not sure finding a way to "clear all blocks except a specific ID" would help, because of this:

All GregTech (ores) are non-ticking MetaTileEntities, defined not by block ID or metadata but by TileEntity data.
