Suggestion: How about a ranged attack mode for Vajra, to fit in with its new look? IC2 lacks an endgame electric ranged weapon (or any effective ranged weapon at all).

1. Damage at range. The mining laser does neglible damage (1-2 points) at ranges of more than 10m or so, even on long-range mode. Maximum range is also rather short.
2. Muzzle velocity. The mining laser projectile is slow and it is difficult to hit distant targets with it.
3. Terrain damage. The mining laser causes a lot of collateral damage when it misses, which is often.

While I absolutely love the idea of an advanced jetpack (I sacrifice armor to use jetpack 24/7), I also agree that the toggle isn't good.
It's not a bad idea to have a toggle, but its "on" mode should behave like the normal jetpack - having it drain power and not be responsive defeats the purpose of using it vs. other flight options. I also firmly believe that I will die due to this feature if I ever turn it off - which I'll be forced to do, due to the power drain - because I'll forget and jump off a cliff. This happens just because of my forgetting to charge or put on my jetpack, so having a button for it will only speed up my suicides.
I also use the jetpack to escape situations like falling, being approached by a creeper, ending up in lava.. these require reaction time, which can't happen if you have to toggle modes to fly.

Hello i just had a quick question about the Vajra me and my freind were PVPing with them and he broke my quantum chestplate with it is this intentional?

I have a few suggestions:
-Change the Vajra accurate mode hotkey from right click to maybe shift+left click, or have it use the mode-switch key from basic IC2
-Maybe add an upgraded Mining Laser as d3n7 suggested
-Upgrade to Quantum boots...possibly a static electricity generator?
-Quantum Leggings upgrade that reduces energy consumption while boosting through water? (Michael Phelps pants )I noticed in NEI that the spelling of the Vajra is off as of build 1.7 (It is listed as 'Varja' )
Great mod btw! Excellent balance in terms of recipes and power consumption. I love how the Ultimate Solar Helmet's power generation comes at the price of not having the regular Quantum Helmet's special abilities

Sorry, vajra is "contact" item. No ranged attack. Maybe in new item.

"ON" mode not dry power also displays the status status on screen. You can never turn off this mode... Maybe i will add "sensor" for gravitation chest plate.

I have many interesting ideas for realization in the future. For what it is necessary to change hotkey ? Right click very usefull. In next release i will add "disable" in config file for accurate mode, because it's not logging at bukkit servers.

Not sure how this could be coded, but some kind of Super ultimate mega Pants that the longer you run at, the more speed you gain, like those Boots in Terraria.
And what about Rocket boots? Like a jetpack but you can only fly for like 5 seconds, allowing a Super jump. -

I'd rather some magnetic boots that makes player produce impact waves (that knockbacks and does damage) when landing with high speed, after quantum jump for example. -

Hi, I am playing on FTB Direwolf pack with Gregtech, Advanced Solars and I Upgraded GraviSuit to 1.7.
There is a bug with the item names in the Vajra recipe, the core called Varja Core and the tool itself called Vajra.
I have a Vajra with Silk Touch on it (Enchanted Book), the enchant doesn't work when I use the accurate mode, also, sometimes I get Internal Server Error when I use the accurate mode.I have a GraviChestplate, an Advanced Jetpack, Vajra, GraviTool, an Advanced Diamond Drill and an Advanced Chainsaw.
By far, I love this addon, keep up the great work!BTW, sorry for my bad English, I live in Israel and my native language is Hebrew.
BTW 2, I would like to see some other cool uograded Quantum Armor, so you can be invincible, something like Boots that run faster and jump a bit higher and work like a strong pair of static boots.

Sentimel, bug report: when i use the accurate mod too often, your addon throws NullPointerException.

Then i get off the server with Internal Server Error. It doesn't crash the server though. Really cool update, loving new gravitool and vajra.

The only thing i could with is just teleport boots (remembers place via hotkey, then you can teleport back using another hotkey, should require 1000000 EU)
But stop. As you are adding some middle-game items, why not Advanced Solar Helmet (will use Advanced Solar Panel in recipe) and Enhanced Advanced Solar Helmet (will use Hybrid Ones).
... or wait? Maybe some kind of leggins? That should accelerate the speed x6 faster, not x3.4 as quantum does. -

Why not just use the QuantumLeggings and a Enderpearl?People want to make "Acceleration roads" from one place to another, traveling much faster without the need of ice.
Acceleration would be like 2m/s² thus making players reach very high-speeds, which should have a negative part, like doing high-damage if you suddenly stop (hitting a wall or something).Enderpearls are too magical for IC².
Teleport Boots could make player "teleport" them one/up to four blocks while walking over hills so they could climb them without jumping/flying. -
If you use Minefactory Reloaded, it has roads which boost you like ice.
