I need a sanity check here. Please check if you can compress any of the following:
- 3x Netherrack --> Nether Brick
- Uranium Ore --> Refined Uranium Ingot
- Uranium Dust --> Refined Uranium Ingot
- Coal Chunk --> Diamond
Using IC2 308-lf and GT 3.04f.

I can see the recipes in NEI but the compressor does nothing with them. I put 16 overclockers, debug tool in charge slot and nothing happens.

But try lessI was on my test world, and I just wanted to randomly compress Uranium Ore for no reason, in a brand new compressor + debug tool. Didn't work, tried with 3 Netherrack, Coal Chunk and Uranium Dust. Also didn't work.

The compressor/macerator/extractor doesnt have enough internal storage to process stuff with 16 overclockers.
You MUST use at least one storage upgrade then apply enough energy to it.Why? you ask me.
here is why :
1 operation takes about 800 EU, its internal storage is not much bigger than that.
1 operation with 16 overclockers (which is the maximum speed, if you put more it would waste energy as MC doesnt allow more than 20 operations per second) would take about 6-8k EU within ONE tick, so the internal storage cant even handle that, requiring at least one upgrade of 10k EU. -
Have you tried with a different power source, say solars or generators?
Also, have you tried without the overclockers? -
I don't know about the Uranium, but it's 5x Netherrack per Nether Brick last time I checked

1 Netherrack (ID 87) --smelt--> 1 Nether Brick (ID 405)
4 Nether Brick (ID 405) --craft--> 1 Nether Brick (ID 112) -
3 Netherrack + Compressor = 1 Nether Brick, so Compressing is better than smelting. Oh RawCode...

That's why I have Overclockers in my Q/A, as they cause similar Effects on my Machines (even though my Machines are much more stable).

pff n00b, the vanilla minecraft is 4 netherrack -> 1 nether brick block, the ic2 is 3 netherrack -> 1 nether brick block. The vanilly also takes longer time, unless you use an induction furnace.
As you can see, it's 4:1 in vanilla, and 3:1 in IC2. Oh, and congratulations, you managed to post a post that wasn't exorbitally rude.

In case you still don't get me, I mean the ID 112 Nether Brick. NOT THE ID 405 NETHER BRICK.
Using the compressor method, you need 3 Netherrack to get block ID 112 Nether Brick.
Using your smelting method, you need 4 Netherrack to smelt into ID 405 Nether Brick, which you can craft into 1 ID 112 Nether Brick. So you need 4 Netherrack to make ID 405 Nether Brick.
