Well, it is VANILLA Minecraft causing that. This Bug has been reported to Mojang since the 1.6 Snapshots and is still not fixed.

Yea, I figured that much. The question is, is there any unofficial fix for this problem?

Meh, internet ping could go above 20 minutes. -
Meh, internet ping could go above 20 minutes.180000 to 1320000 ms, (3-22 minutes, according to mars-one site). Actually, twice that time, because you have to do an action, and wait for response.
Really, everything from basis to technology and future is explained there. I spent hours reading that. Even I felt like going to mars someday.Edit : Well, we only care about that because it is information being carried. If we think about our sun, the light we see from it is from 8 minutes and 19 seconds in the "past".
Not to mention the other stars. -
umm, so basically even with glass fibre cable to the mars, we would have a ping that'd be only slightly better than mine at the moment? xD
i've got an average of 800 ms and peaks of 2400 ms +... for a server that is not more than 400 km away...
that's not very great for multiplayer...(if the calculation is wron: IT WAS A JOKE!)
yes because 800ms is much much larger then 180000ms -_- -

If you are more interested in MarsOne then I strongly suggest you'd read this book: http://www.amazon.com/Case-Mar…8QU6U/ref=tmm_kin_title_0
It was originally written nearly two decades ago but MarsOne is basing pretty much everything on what was written in that book -
Spwnx, are you sure you get Tungstate Ore in Black Granite veins? I mined 10 stacks of it and not 1 ore..
Also, could it be that Highland's biomes are not properly registered? Having a lot of trouble finding a single ruby in the deserts.. -

yes because 800ms is much much larger then 180000ms -_-Just a note that mars one communication time is based on light speed, as all our satellite-based communications.
Glass fibers are the same, however those allow light to travel unusual ways, instead of a straight line only. -

Whenever you go on an Adventure, turn on this Music, or sing it yourself!
So according to that video, I could wait 10 minutes before closiong to the green thingy and the music wouldn't end?!
Also, ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This forum is damn incompatible with adventure lines!
-
But it is definetly the Music I gonna listen to while searching for a Mesa.

Regardless of popular belief, they are actually about as common as any other biome.
Its also good to see someone else playing 1.7 vanilla -

Not quite. There are 3 climatically extreme Biomes in vanilla. Mushroom Island which is extreme Ocean, Mesa which is extreme Desert and Ice Spikes, which is an extreme Ice Plains biome. Those Biomes are the end of the Biome Generation Chain and are created close to their slightly less extreme Counterparts. If you have for example an Ice Spikes Biome, you can be 100% sure there is an Ice Plains Biome next to it (even if that is small in comparision with the others around it). Since they are the End of the Biome chain, they have the lowest chance of spawning, because they can only be generated adjacent to one special Biome (what doesn't mean that it cannot be next to another Biome as well, I had a Savanna right next to Ice Spikes, but it was still adjacent to Ice Plains).

Speaking from personal experience not statistics. I went exploring for 3 hours and found 6 different mesas and an ice spike thingy. -

I guessAlso, did the enderdragon get harder in 1.7 or did I just not bring enough arrows?

Loving how badly Thermal Expansion 3's website is coping with all the traffic. Anyone else getting through without needed to refresh the page at least 3 times?
EDIT actually really liking some of the changes though

Can you give a summary? thinking about adding it to my world.
